Birds on a branch dress, detachable collar necklace, both Judith March. Navy suede ankle strap flats, Gap. Vintage purse.
When I have five minutes to get dressed and want to look relatively put together, this is always the dress that I choose. So much so, in fact, that one of my male friends actually knows this dress from memory (and affectionately calls it my "bird dress"). If I'm going to be identified with one piece of clothing from my wardrobe, I certainly don't mind it being this one. It took quite a lot of persuading to get my mother to purchase this dress for me instead of running clothes that would have totaled to the same amount, but I've never regretted that decision. The price tag was definitely more than I'm comfortable with, but the amount of times I have worn this dress definitely attests to the theory of investing wisely.
Also, if you want to see how much older that I (think I) look in just under a year, check out my first post in this dress here.
