As I was going to sleep last night, I realize I do not have any fondness for traditionally "spring" colors. I appreciate a few shades that lean towards pastel, but my wardrobe is largely full of either neutrals or fall colors. I'm excited to see how I will style my burgundy and burnt orange items in a season that usually celebrates all colors that are light and fluffy. The bubble gum pastel shades just do not suit my personality, so I will stick to what I know best in the coming warmer months. Luckily, I'll just do it sans tights and boots.
Although this is a fairly simply and formulaic outfit for me, I think that the outfit is made by the location Patrick and I found to shoot. This road leads up to the "top of the world". While the views at the top of the drive are stunning, the road itself is a beautiful landscape. I can't wait to take more pictures in the coming season when all of the trees have sprung to life. This is definitely a place that I'll visit again and again.
Lastly, my apologies for missing my His & Hers post on Friday. I've got a great one planned for this week, though, so stay tuned!

Your dress is beautiful. I love how creative your outfit posts are. :) xx
That dress is very sunny I think. All the yellows and I'm sure all alone it will feel more like spring ^_^
