What is it about American flag motifs that seems to bring out the edgier side in everyone? Granted, I'm nowhere near "grunge" with this outfit, but I did gravitate towards some of my edgier accessories when I styled the outfit around the new top. At first, I wasn't sure if such a bold top would really have a place among my dainty, feminine pieces, but I am so glad I took the plunge and redeemed 3000 chic points for it! If you don't already have a Chictopia account, I can't sing the website's praises enough, so I definitely encourage you to sign up! I simply can't wait until the 4th of July to don another seriously patriotic look.
In other news, I am simply thrilled with this outfit picture location that my mother and I stumbled upon while out to dinner in downtown Knoxville. Tucked away in a little corner, it turned these photographs into something much more magical than they would have been in front of a plain brick wall. We had a great evening of dinner at our favorite local restaurant (hey there Tomato Head!) and browsing some of our favorite local stores.
