Coat, Jack by BB Dakota. Dress, secondhand from Plato's Closet. Black tights, Target. Riding boots, DV Dolce Vita. Vintage Dooney & Bourke purse. Like Forever scarf via Style of Civilization. Burgundy square frame glasses, c/o Firmoo.
While I know that I'm going to get quite a few wears out of this printed red dress that I snatched up at Plato's Closet during spring and summer, I just couldn't resist pairing it with some more winter appropriate gear while the cooler temperatures persist. We've finally hit the stage where we are seeing fewer and fewer days with highs below fifty. Thunderstorms might not be everyone's favorite thing that comes with rising temperatures, but for me this is just a reminder that it's warmer outside. However, I did have to suffer through several chilly, windy days before being able to go bare legged now. This outfit was an attempt to insert some cheer into a rather dreary day.
Although we walked around downtown for a while, Patrick and I were grateful for the shelter that a new location of one of our favorite vintage stores, Nostalgia, provided. We spent a decent amount of time looking around the shop and taking pictures.

That dress is so pretty! I have a dress that's a similar color and you make me want to pull it out of my "summer" bin! Adorable look. :)
