"You can overlook a place or thing or person so many times until you decide to ascribe some greater significance to it. Only then do we take any sort of ownership, feeling like that spot was meant for you. Does some sort of divine hand have a part in something as with places? I feel like my soul is more mated with an isolated patch of shade than any human being. I've come to believe that we can have just as meaningful connections with places as we do people. No lists or agendas can reach me here."
