Whether or not I agree with her antics on the show, Blair Waldorf was always my favorite character on Gossip Girl. I stopped watching several seasons ago, but scenes of Blair and Dorota going to feed the ducks to sooth Blair's nerves were some of my favorite moments on the show. With this inspiration in mind, I was thrilled to happen across this ever-present group of ducks in our local park. I put a bow in my hair and channeled my inner Blair (well, not for everything...) and watched my stresses float away with the ducks.
The ends of the weeks during fall semester are always the hardest: I stay up Thursday to get everything done for Friday, only to fall behind again because of cross country races. Luckily, like I've mentioned, my last race is this Saturday! I'm set to get a PR by at least a minute (a huge feat!), and then I will have so much more free time. Compared to last year and to some of my peers, I definitely don't have as much schoolwork as I could. But I'm taking that opportunity to improve the other aspects of my life. And I want as much time as I can for that!
If things get too hectic, I can always look at these pictures to regain a sense of calm. After all, as Blair says, the ducks do soothe me...

you did good, not watching the show anymore, because the past few seasons have been moronic. the Blair & Dorota scenes with the ducks stuck with me too - and these are some lovely pictures you took here!
