One thing I knew I had to visit while on Jekyll Island was this driftwood beach. After a quick dinner last night, I tried to time the visit just right for the best lighting. It was still a bit sunny for my taste. Being used to the land locked mentality of Tennessee, I also forgot to account for the high tide during the evening. I was quite happy to wade through a bit of water to stand on some of the branches, however, because the tiny crabs that are EVERYWHERE on this beach mainly stayed on shore.
I've been having a pretty magical time on the island and each day seems to be getting better on this vacation. After relaxing for a week and fitting in as much beach time as I can, the end of the week is going to be the icing on the cake: a weekend in Savannah. To say I'm excited is an understatement considering Savannah College of Art and Design was actually my first choice school. I feel like I'm cheating on Maryville when I say that because of how much I've fallen in love with my college, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't going to try my hardest to go to grad school at SCAD.
Stay tuned throughout the week for all of my beach adventures!

I love the skirt and your camera there :)
I know I've already commented on how awesome this skirt is but I think I like this restyle even more!
